Kestrel's Edge Studio

I'm Elizabeth; I live with my husband and two Airedale terriers on 20 acres of shrub steppe in Central Washington State. My interest in sharing the incredible local native beauty of where we live started almost from the first day that we found the place and I started to take pictures of the wildflowers (I'm told we have at least 60 varieties in our area), and then there are the birds...they all came out to welcome us the day we found our property and when we built our home we named it Kestrel's Edge after the smallest American Falcon. We put up nesting boxes for them and the Bluebirds and we have watched each year as the new babies are hatched, nurtured and fledged. It is such a privilege for us.

I started to make cards from my photos for my relatives and friends for birthdays and anniversaries and the idea for two note card packets featuring birds and flowers came into being. I now have an additional set depicting quilts in local scenic settings and two different 5x7 snow scene sets, one of landscapes and one of barns, both work really well as Christmas cards.  I also have 5x7 individual cards and many framed and/or matted photographs in various sizes.

I will not be doing the market in Ellensburg this year but you can find a variety of my photos and cards for sale at Ireland Jewelers in Cle Elum.  I will attend several Christmas bazaars in the fall including the Ellensburg Christian School and CWU Ware Fair.

Please use the contact page for any enquires about my work.  Until my web site is more complete you can request that I send you examples via e-mail and if you should want to purchase anything I can process an order via Pay Pal or just a plain old check. Thank you for stopping by.
